Born in Dayton and a graduate of Trotwood and Kettering Public Schools, Sinclair Community College, and Wright State University, I’ve spent most of my life right here in Montgomery County. I’ve seen our transition from a thriving region of vibrant communities fueled by big companies like General Motors and NCR, to a rust belt county starkly divided between haves and have nots - suburbs with grocery stores and a Dayton with food deserts, still trying to find its footing.

As your representative to the Ohio Central Committee, I’ll be dedicated to bringing the real issues and concerns of the region I call home to Columbus.

A woman and a man standing together outside a store with a large welcome sign. The woman is wearing black pants, sneakers, and a black jacket with a red shirt, while the man is wearing green pants, sneakers, and a plaid shirt over a political campaign t-shirt. They are smiling at the camera.

The Central Committee is the elected membership of the Ohio Democratic Party. Its members come together in Columbus and set the priorities and direction of the ODP.

Every four years, voters choose one male and one female representative on their Democratic primary ballot.

If you live in Ohio Senate District 6 (Willis Blackshear is your Ohio Senator), I’m on your ballot. Centered on Dayton, District 6 made up of about 1/3 of Montgomery County including Trotwood, Moraine, West Carrollton, Kettering, Centerville, Oakwood, Riverside, Washington Township, and more. Not sure which district you’re in? It’s easy to find out by typing your name into voter lookup tool on the Montgomery County Board of Elections official website.
